This year the government gave good news to PF users. The government had increased the EPF interest rate by 0.10 percent. After this increase, now users are waiting for interest credit (EPF Interest Rates Credit) in their PF account.
Regarding this, many users posted on social media and asked EPFO a question as to on which day the PF interest rates will be credited. EPFO answered the user's questions. EPFO said that the work of crediting the interest rate is going on. Soon interest rates will be available in more than 8 crore PF accounts.
EPF users can easily check in online and offline mode whether interest has been credited to their PF account or not.
How to check your balance by visiting the website
Step 1- You have to go to the official portal of EPFO (https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php).
Step 2- Now after logging in through the UAN number (Universal Account Number), click on 'Our Services'.
Step 3- After this, click on ‘for employees’ in the drop-down menu and select member passbook’.
Step 4- Now log in by filling in UAN, Password, and Captcha.
Step 5- After logging in and filling in the Member ID, your EPF balance will be shown.
Check balance through call or SMS
Users can also check their PF balance through missed calls on number 011- 22901406. Apart from this, you can also check your PF balance through SMS to number 738299899 by writing EPFOHO UAN ENG.
