With the convenience of UPI, one can transfer money mainly through popular apps like Paytm, PhonePe, and Google Pay, however, there are limits on how much money can be transferred in a single day using UPI. According to the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), individuals can transfer up to Rs 1 lakh through UPI in a single day.
Google Pay: Google Pay users can also transfer money up to Rs 1 lakh per day. Additionally, transactions are limited to 10 times per day.
PhonePe: Similarly, PhonePe allows users to transfer amounts up to Rs 1 lakh with varying variations depending on the user's bank account and transaction history.
Paytm: Through Paytm, users can transfer up to Rs 1 lakh in a day. However, there are also hourly limits. Paytm allows transfers of Rs 20,000 per hour, with a maximum of 5 transactions per hour and 20 transactions per day. These limits may vary depending on the bank and account of the user.
