Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has issued a warning against certain individuals and organizations who are misusing photos of senior executives, company brand names and logos and placing fraudulent advertisements on social media platforms. On the social media platform, LIC appealed to its policy holders to be cautious. Wanted to check the authenticity of everything.

A public notice from the corporation said that it has come to our attention that some individuals and organizations are misusing our brand name, logo and photos of our senior officers or former officers and creating fraudulent advertisements on various social media. Users are advised to be aware of such misleading activities by media platforms without our consent.
 

We will take action.

In the notice, LIC officials asked people to provide information about URL links of such fraudulent advertisements on social media accounts. The link said that strict action will be taken against those who use our brand without permission and appropriate legal action will be taken against those involved in fraudulent activities. The corporation said that they are taking steps to ensure that policyholders and common people are not misled by such Brahmin advertisements.
