New Delhi. EPFO had increased the interest rate from 8.15 percent to 8.25 percent for the financial year 2023-24. Now many account holders are waiting to know when the PF interest will come to their account. In this regard, many people are also asking questions to EPFO on social media. Responding to a tweet, EPFO has said that currently the process of payment of PF interest is in the pipeline and soon this amount will start appearing in your account.

How to check the balance
EPFO members can check their balance through the passbook portal. First of all, go to the passbook portal. After this log in by entering your UAN and password. Select the PF account you want to view. After this, see the PF passbook for all transactions and click.
Other ways
You can also do this through the Umang app. Here you can see the icon of EPFO. Click on it and repeat the same process mentioned above. You can also check your balance by sending an SMS to 7738299899. However, for this, your UN should be linked to that mobile number. You can also get the balance by giving a missed call on 011-22901406 from the registered mobile number linked to UAN.
