LPG: Domestic government oil marketing companies have given good news to LPG gas cylinder consumers. They have recently announced that they have decided to conduct a free safety check for gas connections. Oil marketing companies and distributors will jointly undertake this program. Gas consumers can get these services without any hassle. The safety check personnel will go directly to the consumer's house and check the functioning of the gas connection and leakages.

If any defects are found in the gas connection it is suggested to change them immediately. Consumers are made aware of issues such as how long gas appliances should be used and the need to replace them. State oil companies said in a statement that all this safety checking will be free. At the same time, the staff who came to deliver the gas will check the gas connection according to 8 safety regulations. It also said that users will be made aware of these 8 safety rules.
Generally, there are few regulations on gas consumption. According to them, every consumer must pay for and undergo a safety check of gas installation, regulator, gas pipe, etc. every five years. For this Rs. 200 plus 18 percent GST. However, at present, this safety check is carried out free of charge by the oil companies. If it is found that the amber-colored pipe is not working during the safety checking, immediately Rs. 150 will have to be exchanged.
This safety checking has started in all parts of the country including Delhi. We have set a target to reach the homes of 30 crore gas consumers across the country within the next 3 to 4 months. We are doing this safety checking process without any profit motive. We are conducting this special program keeping in mind the safety of the consumer while using the LPG connection. This safety checking is mandatory in case of third-party insurance claims.' All India LPG Distributors Federation President Chandra Prakash said. They stated that their primary objective is the safety of gas consumers.
