It has been told in the report that this feature is currently available only for Android beta testers and users can use this feature by installing the update of version 2.24.7.3.

The report also states that some Android beta testers can now use a new shortcut to make payments. Now users will be able to see the shortcut to make payment in the chat list itself, through which they can directly scan any UPI QR code. Many people in India are already using WhatsApp Pay to send and receive money securely, so this new feature is very beneficial for them. This new method allows easy payment within the app.

It has been told in the report that now with the feature of scanning the UPI QR code directly in the chat list, users will not need to go to different screens or follow many steps to make payment. This will not only save time but will also make the entire payment process easier and scanning the QR code will also become more convenient.

WhatsApp will stop you from taking screenshots

WhatsApp is bringing a new feature. With the help of this feature, now no user will be able to take a screenshot of the profile picture of another user. First Android Police noticed this. In the latest version of WhatsApp, you will no longer be able to take screenshots of your contacts' profile pictures. If you try to do this, WhatsApp will show an error message stating that the screenshot cannot be taken due to the app being blocked.
