LIC Employees Wage Hike : The government has given a big gift to the employees of the country's well-known insurance company Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). According to information LIC The salary increase for the employees is effective from August 1, 2022. The NPS contribution of about 24,000 employees who joined the company after April 1, 2010, has been increased from 10 percent to 14 percent.

This has been said while thanking the government for the pay revision. It said lump sum ex-gratia payment was also made to LIC pensioners, more than 30,000 pensioners and family pensioners.

Earlier this week, the government had expressed no objection to the 17 per cent pay hike for bank employees from November 1, 2022. The approval of salary hike for LIC employees comes days after the government approved a similar hike for employees of public sector banks.
