LPG Cylinder Prices: The Telangana government has implemented a gas cylinder scheme of Rs 500 for the people of the state. The Congress government in Telangana is implementing its 6 assurance schemes as promised in the manifesto on the occasion of the state assembly elections. In the name of Mahalakshmi's scheme to help the poor in Telangana, the Telangana state houses Rs. 500 gas cylinders being distributed. Rs. 500 gas cylinder scheme to provide financial support to many poor families in Telangana, the government said in a statement.

Currently, the Rs.500 cylinder scheme promised by the Congress government has come into effect. The government, which has already identified the eligible families, is providing an LPG cylinder for Rs.500 to those families. In this order, the government is depositing the subsidy money in the accounts of those who have paid full cash. Money is flowing into the accounts of many beneficiaries who are already taking the cylinders. While the price of a cylinder is Rs.974, the central government is providing a subsidy of Rs.47.38.

Also, the state government is providing a subsidy of Rs.426.62 per cylinder. Therefore, with the current Rs.500 cylinder scheme, the current price of LPG has to be paid and taken. After that, the government pays 500 rupees and deposits the remaining cash in the beneficiary's accounts. However, recently the central government has announced a reduction of Rs.100 on LPG cylinder prices. With this coming into effect, the price of a cylinder in Telangana has now reached Rs.850.

However, if anyone is eligible for this scheme and has not yet applied, they can apply again. The government has announced that they have made it possible to apply for the six schemes being implemented by the government in their respective mandal offices.
