You should check PF account from time to time
If you work in a company and regularly contribute to EPFO from your salary, then you need to check your EPF account status. Many times it also happens that the company does not deposit the amount you contribute in EPFO.
Can complain online/offline
When you find that the company is not contributing to the EPF account, you can complain to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). Here you can complain online. For this, first of all you have to go to the official website of EPFIGMS. Apart from this, you can also make a written complaint to the PF officer.
How do you complain?
- First of all you have to go to the official website of EPFO. Here you have to log in to your account through your Universe Account Number (UAN).
- After this you have to click on Get Details. Now you will see all the information related to UAN here.
- After this now you have to click on Get OTP. OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- After entering the OTP you have to click on OK. After this you will have to enter other information like your name, gender, mobile number.
- After this you will have to upload your necessary documents.
- You will get a message once your complaint is submitted.
