Bollywood Gharchola Sarees: Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding ceremony has been one of the most famous events of March 2024. Famous celebrities from all over the world participated in the three-day long ceremony and flaunted their fashion sense. At the ‘Signature’ ceremony on the third day of the ceremony, Ambani had asked his guests to wear traditional attire. In order to pay tribute to the Indian culture, the two Bollywood divas wore Gharchola sarees from Gujarat to match the atmosphere as the ceremony was held in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Gharchola sarees are an integral part of Gujarati weddings, and the drape includes attractive tones of gold and red, grid pattern designs and bandhani.

Deepika Padukone shows pregnancy glow wearing Gharchola saree

Deepika Padukone surprised everyone in a beautifully designed Gharchola saree and posted some pictures of her look on her social media handle. In the photos, Deepika’s stunning saree had floral gota work all over. She paired her saree with a heavy blouse that had golden zari work in flower patterns along with some pearls.

With this, Deepika completed her look with a choker and stud earrings, ruby-embedded necklace. In the same light statement look, red and highlighted cheeks, coffee brown lipstick, winged eyeliner and glowing eyeshadow completed her look. She had made a bun with her hair, which was decorated with a gajra. She was seen spreading pure pregnancy glow in this gharchola. Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh are going to welcome their first child in September 2024.

Shanaya Kapoor styled Gharchola saree with potli bag

Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor also attended the pre-wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. On the last day of the three-day ceremony, Shanaya wore a red Gharchola saree, which had stone decorations at some distance and a zardozi border. Was the zenith of. Shanaya’s beautiful look included polki jewelery along with matching earrings. She complemented her royal look with subtle makeup, which included smokey eyes, nude lipstick and a bun hairstyle. She carried a potli bag and shoes to add charm to her look.

Sonam Kapoor also wore her mother’s old Gharchola saree

On February 5, 2024, Sonam Kapoor sported a Gujarati style kerri at celebrity photographer, Apeksha Maker’s wedding reception in Mumbai and chose a maroon colored Gharchola saree with golden zari work and geometric patterns.

While posting her pictures on her IG handle, Sonam had told that she had borrowed the 35-year-old saree from her mother Sunita Kapoor. Sonam completed her look with gajra and glam makeup and half bun hairstyle. Additionally, she completed her look with diamond jewellery, which included a necklace, matching earrings, a maang tikka, bangles and was seen carrying a golden tote.
