How to apply?

For new gas connection you need to visit nearest gas distributor office. Go there to collect application form for new connection and fill and submit that form. Proof of your residence is mandatory in this case.

The information required for this is-

• Ration card
• Electricity bill
• Telephone bill
• passport
• Employer Certificate
• Flat allotment or possession letter
• House registration paper
• Voter card
• If in rented house, rent receipt
• PAN card
• Aadhaar Card

After submission of the form and registration, the gas distributor will send a letter through registered post. After receiving this letter, the connection will be provided only by going to the gas distributor with the letter. You will get new gas connection within a month.

In this case, it is necessary to remember that it is mandatory to have ISI marked hotplate and safety LPG pipe. When gas connection is provided, these issues will be looked into.

Security Deposit-

14.2 kg LPG cylinder, which is used in the house of the householder, is required to deposit Rs.2200 as security deposit. If taking 5 kg cylinder, then 1150 taka has to be deposited as security deposit. Apart from this, you have to pay 250 rupees separately for the pressure regulator.
