Redmi K90 Ultra China launch date confirmed, pre-reservations now active before official debut

Redmi has officially confirmed that the K90 Ultra will debut in China later this monthwith pre-reservations now open for interested buyers. In a post on Weibo, Redmi confirmed the phone will launch before the end of June 2026, though the exact date hasn’t been announced yet.

Pricing and market positioning

Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing revealed that the handset will be positioned below the K90 Max in the lineup and will carry a price tag of around CNY 3,000 (approximately $420 or ₹38,000). The phone is being marketed as the “king of next-generation performance” in China.

Pre-order bonus offer

Chinese buyers can pre-reserve the phone today by paying CNY 9.9 (about $1.40 or ₹125), which comes with a bonus “fortune bag” containing:

  • Xiaomi Air 4 SE TWS headphones (worth CNY 199)

  • 365-day phone replacement program for damage (worth CNY 199)

This gives buyers a total bonus value of CNY 398 for just CNY 9.9.

Expected specifications

The Redmi K90 Ultra is rumored to feature several gaming-focused specs:

  • MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset (some sources suggest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5)

  • Built-in active cooling fan for gaming performance, similar to RedMagic phones

  • 8,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging

  • 6.8-inch display with 165Hz refresh rate

  • Performance-focused design targeting gamers

China-exclusive launch

The device is expected to be exclusive to Chinawith no official Indian or global launch date confirmed yet. A global variant, potentially named the Xiaomi 17T Prois expected to follow within the first half of the year, though this timeline remains uncertain.
