It has been more than a month since Vijay turned CM but there is no update on the censor clearance and the film’s release. The makers have invested a lot of money and the six months delay is a huge stress for them. Vijay never responded about the film or spoke about it. Today’s update says that the producer has flown to New Delhi to the Central Board of Film Certification headquarters. The team is expecting clarity very soon. The crucial meeting is expected to clear all the hurdles. The Revising Committee has watched the film a month ago but there was no update about the censor certificate. There are reports that there was an objection from one of the members. If Jana Nayagan is delayed further, the producer has plans to refund all his distributors. Jana Nayagan is a social drama directed by H Vinoth and is produced by KVN Productions. The film is the remake of Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari.
