Odisha’s Akash & Bibhasindhu To Represent India At World Abilitysport Youth Games In Turkey

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Akash Ranjan Mund and Bibhasindhu Barik have been selected to represent India in the World Abilitysport Youth Games 2026, to be held in Turkey from June 18-21.
The talented para shuttlers will both compete in Men’s Singles SL-3 Category, carrying the hopes of Odisha and India on the international stage.
Akash, a BA English student of KIIT School of Liberal Studies, Bhubaneswar, had last year taken part in the Uganda Para Badminton meet in Kampala.
Teenaged Bibhasindhu, from Dhenkanal district, is a para shuttler in the junior as well as senior ranks.
He has already competed at the World Abilitysport Youth Games and bagging multiple medals at events like the Uganda Para Badminton International.
