During the 61st day of a 78-day Yajna dedicated to the four Vedas at Veda Mandir, esteemed Vedic scholar and Yogacharya Swami Ram Swarup shared insightful teachings with attendees, focusing on the Atharvaveda, Kanda 6, Suktas 61 and 62.

In his address, Swami Ji conveyed the divine wisdom encapsulated in the Vedic mantras, stating that God proclaims in the scriptures: “Aham Prithiveem Uta Dyaam Vivecha,” which translates to “I (God) sustain and distinctly hold the Earth and the celestial realm that includes the Sun and the Moon.” He elaborated that it is solely God who has fashioned the human body with two ears, two nostrils, two eyes, and one mouth, serving as the ultimate source of truth and the eternal Vedic knowledge.

Swami Ji asserted that the Vedas provide an accurate portrayal of the Almighty, emphasizing that no entity other than God has the capability to create even a single leaf, let alone the complex universe. Thus, humanity should endeavor to understand and worship the God depicted in the Vedas.

He further explained that Vedic knowledge was gifted to humanity for its benefit, to alleviate suffering, and to establish truth in life. Ignoring these sacred teachings has led to the emergence of pain and turmoil in human existence.

Highlighting the practical benefits of Vedic study, Swami Ji noted that engaging with Vedic wisdom enables individuals to master wealth instead of being enslaved by it. This knowledge purifies the mind and intellect, eradicates sins, encourages righteous living, and enhances longevity and overall health.

Encouraging society to reconnect with its spiritual roots, Swami Ji called for a revival of the Vedic path, reminiscent of practices during the Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, and Dwapara Yuga. He asserted that by integrating Vedic principles into daily life, humanity can achieve enduring peace, prosperity, and happiness.

A significant number of devotees present at the Yajna listened intently to the discourse, committing to incorporate Vedic values into their lives for spiritual and moral enhancement.
