Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max has surfaced in a fresh leak that shows the flagship in Dark Cherry, Light Blue and Black finishes. The new images, shared online by tech journalist Jon Rettingeroffer another look at the phone’s design and add to the growing list of pre-launch details around Apple’s next Pro model.
The leak follows earlier dummy-unit appearances and other reports suggesting Apple is working on changes to the phone’s processing power, connectivity and display design. While the overall shape appears familiar, the colour lineup seems to be getting a more distinct identity this time, with Dark Cherry emerging as the standout shade in the latest images.
Design and colour details
The newly shared pictures show the phone from multiple angles, giving a better sense of how the colour finishes may look in real use. Based on the leak, Apple appears to be testing a darker red tone, a light blue option and a black finish, with other reports also pointing to silver and dark gray variants in development.
There are also broader suggestions that Apple may keep the design largely similar to the current Pro line, while refining elements such as the front cutout and display behavior. Some earlier reports say the Dynamic Island could shrink further, with under-display Face ID components helping reduce the visible front area.
What this could mean
If the leak is accurate, Apple seems to be using colour to give the iPhone 18 Pro Max a fresher premium identity rather than making dramatic changes to the body design. The emphasis on darker, richer tones would fit Apple’s usual strategy of offering a more restrained but luxurious Pro lineup.
For now, though, these remain unconfirmed leaks. Apple has not announced the iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the final colour palette or design could still change before launch. Still, the repeated appearance of these variants suggests that the next Pro model is already taking shape well ahead of its expected debut.
