According to IMD satellite bulletins, a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal combined with cyclonic winds has accelerated monsoon activity. This could lead to dust storms with wind speeds of 45–55 km/h and heavy rainfall with thunder in several states.

North India: Delhi-NCR, western and eastern Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan
East India: Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal (including lightning warning)
Hilly Regions: Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh (landslide alert)
Central and South India: Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra's Konkan region, Kerala

Radar and INSAT-3D satellite images indicate the monsoon trough currently passing over northern plains. IMD meteorologists predict that in Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh, dense clouds will form post-noon due to the interaction of the Western Disturbance and monsoon winds, resulting in heavy storms and rainfall. Temperatures could drop by 4–5°C, providing temporary relief from oppressive heat.

June is the main sowing season for Kharif crops like paddy, maize, and millet. Agricultural experts advise:
- Sowing: Avoid waterlogging in fields before sowing paddy or preparing nurseries.
- Pesticides: Delay pesticide spraying during storms as rain and wind may wash them away.
- Livestock: Keep cattle and pets in safe shelters, away from trees or open fields due to lightning risk.
