Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)IRCTC) has announced a very special and grand 18-day spiritual journey through its ‘Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train’. This special train will depart from Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station on September 3 for its journey. Devotees will be able to see the most important religious places in India in this single journey.

Luxurious and Hi-Tech Train: A 5 star hotel on the move

These Bharat Gaurav Deluxe trains are designed to make long distance travel easier and more comfortable. This train is fully air-conditioned. In this, according to the convenience of passengers, First AC (1st AC), Three classes are provided namely Second AC (2nd AC) and Third AC (3rd AC). The facilities in this train are not less than a five star hotel. The train itself has a modern hi-tech kitchen for passengers, Where fresh food is prepared for passengers. Also two fine restaurants to enjoy a meal, Sensor-based modern toilets, Shower cubicles for bathing and electronic foot massagers to relieve travel fatigue are provided. In terms of security, CCTV cameras and special security guards will be deployed throughout the train.

Varanasi to Ujjain: This will be the complete route of the Yatra

This panoramic and devotional journey will begin from the holy city of Varanasi (Kashi) in Uttar Pradesh. Here devotees will visit the Baba Kashi Vishwanath Temple and attend the spectacular Ganga Aarti. The train will then proceed to Deoghar in Jharkhand. Where devotees can have darshan of Vaidyanath Dham Jyotirlinga. From here onwards the journey will turn towards the world famous city of Puri in Odisha. In Puri, travelers will be treated to a visit to the Lord Jagannath Temple and a trip to the beautiful Puri Beach.

After this the train will proceed towards South India. After visiting the Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga in Andhra Pradesh, the devotees will reach Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu. Along with the main Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameswaram, Dhanushkodi and Vibhishan temples will also be visited.

Trip to Jyotirlinga in Maharashtra and Gujarat

This train will enter Maharashtra after completing the South India leg. Bhima Shankar to devotees in Maharashtra, There will be an opportunity to have darshan of three very holy Jyotirlingas namely Ghrishneshwar and Trimbakeshwar. Along with this, devotees will be offered a trip to the world-famous historical Kailas Caves in Verul and the historical Panchvati area in Nashik. After completing the journey to Maharashtra, the train will enter the state of Gujarat directly to the west. Dwarkadhish Temple in Gujarat, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Island Dwarka and Somnath Temple situated on the shores of Abyssal Sea will be the main attractions of this Yatra. After Gujarat, this train will reach Madhya Pradesh, Where devotees can have darshan of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain. Finally, On the 18th day, the train will return to Delhi and conclude this historic journey.
