The Joint Awami Action Committee, which is leading the protests in the area, alleges that the army has opened fire on people attending a funeral in Rawalakot.
It is being told that the people attending Shahzeb’s funeral were raising slogans against the Pakistani Army and Shahbaz government, when the security forces started firing. The committee alleges that the security forces took away the bodies of the killed protesters. The army shot dead 27 people before the Joint Awami Action Committee warned of a massive demonstration today. There is also news that orders have been issued to shoot at sight Action Committee leader Shaukat Nawaz Mir. Because Shaukat Nawaz had warned of a big demonstration against the Shahbaz government today. There is huge anger among the people after this incident.
