Chhattisgarh Teacher Recruitment News: Chhattisgarh's Education Minister, Gajendra Yadav, has made a significant statement regarding teacher recruitment. He clarified that Vyapam is finalizing its preparations and that the recruitment process will strictly follow the schedule issued by the department. He noted that there is currently a requirement for 5,000 teachers across the state's Swami Atmanand schools.
The responsibility for conducting this examination will be entrusted to a private agency. The system is designed so that candidates take the exam in the afternoon and results are declared by the evening; this ensures transparency throughout the process and prevents any irregularities. The Education Minister assured that the recruitment process would be completed by the first week of July.
**Lessons Learned from Past Mistakes**
He mentioned that while recruitment for these schools was initiated last year, the process could not be completed even after the exam results were declared in March. Complaints regarding mismanagement arose from various locations, accompanied by mutual allegations and counter-allegations. In light of these discrepancies, the government has now decided to conduct a centralized examination.
**Recruitment for 10,000 Posts**
Outlining the stages of recruitment, he stated that 5,000 contractual teachers would be appointed to Swami Atmanand schools first, followed immediately by the recruitment of 5,000 assistant teachers. Thus, a total of 10,000 posts will be filled within the Education Department. He urged the youth not to worry about the matter, assuring them that the government would fulfill its promise without fail.
**Accusation Against Congress for Spreading Lies**
Countering attacks from the opposition, the Education Minister stated that the Congress party is consistently spreading falsehoods. He highlighted that his government has appointed over 20,000 individuals across various departments in the last two and a half years, and recruitment exams for various posts are currently being conducted every Sunday. Meanwhile, the Education Minister clarified the situation regarding the reopening of schools amidst the state's scorching heat. He stated that the new academic session would begin in July. If the hot weather conditions persist, the holiday period could be extended for the convenience of the students. If there is no relief from the heat over the next week, the scheduled reopening of schools on June 16 will be postponed.
