The wait for students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 second board examination may soon be over. The Board is likely to release the results for the second board exam in June 2026. Under the new examination system, students were given an opportunity to improve their marks and enhance their performance. Although the official date for the results has not yet been announced, the Board has clarified that they will be released in June. Students will be able to check their results via the official website, DigiLocker, and the UMANG app.

**Exam held from May 15 to May 21**
CBSE conducted the second board examination between May 15 and May 21, 2026. In this exam, students had the opportunity to improve their marks in up to three subjects. Additionally, students who had been placed in the 'compartment' category during the 2025 examination were also permitted to appear for this exam.

**Results available on these platforms**
Once the results are released, students will be able to view them on the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Furthermore, digital marksheets will be made available on the UMANG app and the DigiLocker platform.

**Admission via DigiLocker marksheet**
The Board has stated that the digital marksheet for the main examination is already available on DigiLocker. Students can use this marksheet to secure admission to Class 11. Following the declaration of the second exam results, pass certificates and certificates of merit will be issued to successful students.

**Girls outperformed boys in the first exam**
CBSE declared the results of the main board examination on April 16, 2026. A total of 93.70 percent of students passed the exam. Girls outperformed boys; the pass percentage for girls stood at 94.99 percent, while the pass percentage for boys was recorded at 92.60 percent.
