If sources are to be believed, he has asked for a time of 10:30 am at Raj Bhava for this. Before this, he will have a breakfast meeting with Deputy CM DK Shivakumar and after that he will submit his resignation. At the same time, after the resignation of Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar will take oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka.

When Siddaramaiah was asked about the discussions held with the Congress high command in New Delhi, he said I will talk tomorrow. At the same time, State Home Minister G Parameshwara said that the party leaders will follow the decision of the Congress high command. Parameshwara also informed that party general secretary and Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala will address the press conference. They will give clarification on this issue. He said, we are committed to following the decision of the high command. Whatever the case may be, only the high command will take the decision.

Sources also said that the Chief Minister has called a meeting of cabinet ministers on Thursday. Messages in this regard were sent to all the ministers on Tuesday night. Amidst the political developments, many ministers and senior MLAs have started reaching the Chief Minister’s residence. These include Social Welfare Minister HC Mahadevappa. Some supporters of Siddaramaiah camp are opposing his resignation.
