Tezzbuzz Desk – The Central Government is now preparing to take action on a large scale regarding illegal infiltration and demographic changes in the country. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday announced that the government has formed a high-level committee to examine the demographic changes taking place in the country due to “illegal migration and other unnatural causes”.
Amit Shah posted on social media platform He said that this is not just a matter of population, but a bigger issue to national security, law and order, social structure and identity of tribal society.
This high-level committee constituted by the government will be headed by retired judge Justice Prakash Prabhakar Naolekar. Former IAS officer and former Census Commissioner Durga Shankar Mishra, former IPS officer Balaji Srivastava and economist Shamika Ravi have also been made members in the committee.
The Home Minister said that this committee will comprehensively study the demographic changes taking place across the country. In this, the patterns of abnormal changes taking place in the population at the level of religious and social communities will be examined and time-bound suggestions will be given for its solution.
Actually, the formation of this committee was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of Independence Day on 15 August 2025. During that time the Prime Minister had said that illegal infiltration is becoming a big crisis for the country and it is affecting the jobs of the youth, social balance and safety of women.
Now this step of the government is being seen as a big campaign against border security and illegal migration.
