The West Ham captain is expected to draw significant attention in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Manchester United are reportedly leading the chase to sign Jarrod Bowen this summer, although a departure from West Ham United is far from certain.
Despite Bowen scoring nine league goals over the season, his efforts were not enough to save the club from relegation, bringing an end to their 14-year spell in the Premier League. Tottenham Hotspur managed to avoid the drop instead, maintaining their top-flight status.
With relegation confirmed, West Ham are anticipated to offload several key first-team players in order to manage the financial impact of losing Premier League revenue. Among their most valuable assets is Bowen, who could command a hefty transfer fee.
Other players such as Crysencio Summerville, Mateus Fernandes and Konstantinos Mavropanos are also expected to attract transfer interest. However, Bowen has already suggested that he may prefer to remain at the London Stadium.
Bowen said, “I’m under contract here. I’ve been here six and a half years. I’ve had some really high moments and this is a low moment that will outweigh everything.”
He continued, “There’s going to be rumours, there’s going to be talk. Ultimately, what I see is getting this club back in the Premier League because that is where it deserves to be.”
“This is a really, really low moment, but we have to bounce back because there’s no other way. This is a really difficult moment.”
“You never know what the future holds. For me, I want to get this club back in the Premier League. Right now our vision is to do that.”
According to the latest Betfair odds, Bowen is still the most likely to remain a West Ham player when the transfer window closes.
Nevertheless, Manchester United are currently seen as the top contenders to secure his signature, followed closely by Liverpool and Aston Villa. Newcastle United are viewed as outside contenders, while Tottenham Hotspur have longer odds.
Here are the latest betting odds for Bowen’s next club:
West Ham: 1/1

Aston Villa: 5/1
Newcastle United: 6/1
Tottenham Hotspur: 17/2
