Siddhivinayak temple will become a grand corridor! Fadnavis-Shinde performed Bhoomi Pujan, know what facilities will be available

Siddhivinayak Temple Corridor Project Bhumi Pujan News: Mumbai’s famous Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, which is considered a major center of faith for millions of Hindus in the country and the world, is going to be rejuvenated. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fanavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the first phase of the Siddhivinayak Temple Corridor Project. Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde was also present on this occasion. With the construction of this grand corridor, lakhs of devotees coming to the temple will now be able to get world class and modern facilities.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that various modern and convenient arrangements will be made available to the devotees through the corridor to be developed in the Shri Siddhivinayak Ganpati Temple complex.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said after the bhoomi pujan of the first phase of the Siddhivinayak Temple Corridor Project that this temple is the center of faith of the country. With the construction of the corridor, devotees will get modern facilities. He said that Siddhivinayak Temple is a big center of faith not only in Mumbai but in the entire country. Lakhs of devotees come here every day for darshan.

When was Siddhivinayak Temple established?

The foundation of Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, which is about two hundred and fifty years old, was laid in the year 1801. Now keeping in mind the facilities of the devotees, the temple corridor project has been started. Deputy CM Shinde said that this project will be completed in the next two years.

Special focus on development and reconstruction of religious places

Eknath Shinde said that the project was inaugurated in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and for this he thanked all the members of the Siddhivinayak Trust. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, special attention is being given to the development and reconstruction of religious places in the country

Giving examples, he said that the construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya and Mahakal Temple Corridor in Ujjain is an important step in this direction. Shinde said that construction and reconstruction of temples is not only a development work but also a cultural and religious responsibility.

At the same time, Acharya Pawan Tripathi, Treasurer of Siddhivinayak Temple Trust, said that the aim of the beautification and corridor project of the temple is to provide better facilities to the devotees. He said that after the construction of the corridor, devotees will not have to face any inconvenience during darshan. Under the project, modern parking facilities, better queue management and safe transportation will be provided.

Acharya Pawan Tripathi said that such a corridor will be developed in the temple premises, where devotees can get relief from heat, sun or rain. He said that in view of the increasing number of devotees, expansion of facilities had become extremely necessary. The Trust’s endeavor is to provide modern facilities to the devotees along with spiritual experience, so that their darshan experience can become more comfortable and accessible.
