Tezzbuzz Desk- Common people in Delhi-NCR have once again faced a big shock due to inflation. CNG prices have been increased again in the capital. On Tuesday, May 26, gas distribution companies have increased the prices of CNG by Rs 2 per kg. With this, the new price of CNG in Delhi has become Rs 83.09 per kg.

This increase has happened at a time when the prices of petrol and diesel have already spoiled the budget of the common people. Till now CNG was considered a cheap and economical fuel, but the continuous increase in prices has increased the concern of the drivers.

The most shocking thing is that this is the fourth time in just 12 days that CNG prices have been increased. It is clear from this that price pressure is continuously increasing. Earlier the rate of CNG in Delhi was Rs 81.09 per kg, but after the new increase it has directly reached above Rs 83.

This sudden increase is affecting employed people and commercial vehicle drivers the most. Now the travel expenses have increased for the people who travel daily, due to which the monthly budget is also being affected.

Gas distribution company Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has attributed this increase to the rise in natural gas prices in the international market. According to the company, imports have become expensive due to increase in the cost of gas in the global market and weakness of the rupee against the dollar.

The company says that due to increase in input costs, they are forced to change the retail prices. The direct impact of international pressure is now visible on the pockets of domestic consumers.

The continuously rising prices have increased the problems of those who had opted for CNG vehicles to avoid petrol and diesel. Now it has to be seen how much relief people get from this inflation in the coming days.
