CNG prices increased again, this time gas became costlier by Rs 2 per kg

The prices of petroleum products are continuously increasing. The prices of diesel and petrol have crossed Rs 100 and now the price of CNG has increased once again. This time the price of CNG has been increased by Rs 2 per kg in Delhi. Now the price of one kg CNG in Delhi has become Rs 83.09. It is important to know that the price of CNG is increased differently in different cities.

 

Due to the ongoing global crisis, the supply of crude oil required for petroleum products was affected for some time. The prices of crude oil were also skyrocketing but now it has started decreasing. Recently, data has come to light that between January and March, three major petroleum companies of India have earned bumper profits.

 

CNG became expensive by Rs 6 in 4 times

The price of CNG was increased by Rs 2 in Delhi on May 15. After this, the price of one kg CNG has increased by Re 1 on May 17, Re 1 on May 23 and now by Re 2 on May 26. In this way, due to a total of four increases in 12 days, the price of one kg CNG has increased by Rs 6. Similarly, the price of CNG has increased in many other cities also.

 

After the increase in gas prices, an auto driver told PTI, ‘Gas prices are increasing, there is no business at all. Rapido bikes are gone, where is the point of riding an auto now? At least make food items cheaper. Earning even Rs 700 has become difficult now. Another driver said, ‘Auto-taxi drivers are all worried. Inflation has increased a lot. It is a matter of great difficulty for us. The government should find some solution to this. Some consideration should be given to gas and CNG.
