PM Kisan Yojana | Millions of farmers in India are benefiting from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana) scheme. Through this ambitious scheme of the Central Government, direct financial assistance is given to the eligible farmers. 6000 rupees are deposited in the farmer’s bank account every year for the financial empowerment of the farmer and financial assistance to him while farming. This money is distributed to the farmers through 3 installments totaling Rs.2000. Till date 22 installments of PM Kisan Yojana have accumulated and now all eyes are on 23rd installment. However, some farmers may be deprived of the 23rd installment. Important information has come to light that these farmers will not get this installment.
New changes from Central Govt.-
To make the PM Kisan Yojana more transparent, the central government has tightened some rules. The verification process has been started by the government to ensure that only eligible and needy farmers get the money of PM Kisan Yojana. Accordingly, beneficiaries with forged documents, wrong information or incomplete records may be withheld from further installments. Therefore, it has become necessary for the farmers to complete the necessary process in time.
According to the central government order, farmers who have not yet completed the e-KYC process will not get the benefit of the 23rd installment. So farmers should complete e-KYC as soon as possible.
Another thing is that land verification has been made mandatory. Farmers must link their land documents with PM Kisan account. If these documents are not matched, the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana of the said farmer may be stopped. The administration has taken a strict stand in this regard and has clarified that the rules will be strictly followed.
When will the 23rd installment be available?
In fact, there is no official announcement from the Modi government regarding the 23rd installment of PM Kisan Yojana. That is, the exact date on which the money of this installment will be deposited in the bank account of the farmers has not yet been told by the government. However, if we look at the date of installment in the last few years, it is likely that the first installment of the current financial year will be collected from the last week of June to the first week of July. But if some technical reasons come up and the installment of PM Kisan Yojana is delayed, then this installment can be credited to the farmer’s account by the first week of August.
