Zayn Malik opened his highly anticipated Konnakol Tour with a sold-out performance at The O2 Arena in London , marking one of the biggest milestones of his solo career. The former One Direction singer performed a 22 song set that combined tracks from his new album Konnakol with fan favorites from earlier in his career.

The concert began with the powerful opening track “Nusrat,” accompanied by massive stage projections and dramatic green spotlights that filled the arena.

Throughout the night, Malik performed new songs including “Die For Me” while also giving fans long-awaited renditions of hits such as “Pillowtalk.” Audience members praised the singer’s live vocals and emotional stage presence, especially as reports suggested he had been unwell and had limited rehearsal time before the concert.

During the show, Malik addressed the crowd with an emotional speech, reflecting on his journey from a young fan to performing on one of the country’s biggest stages. He shared that, as a child, he had dreamed of performing at the venue after first seeing it during the Millennium Dome era. Thanking the audience for their continued support, he told fans that the moment would not have been possible without them standing by him throughout his career.

While some concertgoers expressed disappointment over the limited number of songs from his earlier albums, many others defended the carefully chosen setlist and praised the singer’s confidence and vocal performance. Fans online described the concert as both visually striking and deeply personal.

The tour continued on May 24 with a performance in Manchester at the AO arena , where Malik admitted he was feeling nervous because several members of his family, including his mother, were attending the show. In one of the evening’s most touching moments, he publicly thanked his mum for coming to support him, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
