Atalanta's Brazilian midfielder Ederson is reportedly determined to finalise his high-profile move to Manchester United this summer. As per journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old is not entertaining any discussions with other clubs, as his sole focus remains on joining the Red Devils.

Since his arrival from Salernitana in 2022, Ederson has built a strong reputation as one of Serie A’s most dependable defensive midfielders. Last summer, Inter Milan made an attempt to bring him to San Siro, but the Nerazzurri were unable to meet Atalanta’s substantial asking price, ultimately missing out on the deal.

Although Inter have continued to keep tabs on the player’s situation in Bergamo, the reigning Serie A champions are now expected to lose out again. Ederson appears intent on taking the next step in his career by moving to the Premier League. Reports suggest that Manchester United and Atalanta have already reached a verbal understanding regarding the transfer amount.
