Pakistan Quetta Blast: A major explosion has occurred in Balochistan, Pakistan. At least 23 people were killed and 47 people were injured in a suicide attack targeting a train near the railway track near Chaman Gate in Quetta. The death toll is likely to increase further. According to reports, the explosion occurred near the railway track, after which several coaches of the train not only derailed but also thick smoke rose towards the sky. The blast was so powerful that the surrounding area trembled.

Relief and rescue operations were started immediately after the incident. Teams of railways, police and security agencies reached the spot and the passengers were evacuated safely. The injured have been sent to hospitals.
