Indian actor Yash has shared new details about his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Upshighlighting the strong presence of female characters in the story.
The Googly actor said the film would offer a different view of the gangster world, with emotional depth and layered storytelling.
He explained that the female characters in the film were not written as background roles but carried their own strength and purpose.
Yash stated that the film had been shaped by director Geetu Mohandas, whose approach brought a more emotional and realistic touch to the narrative.
“A lot of men have had the opportunity to talk about the gangster world or the dark side of humans. But when somebody like Geetu, whose take on emotions is very deep, enters that space, every scene takes a different turn,” he said.
He further added that the women in the film were shown as powerful individuals who faced situations with courage and control.
“We have some female characters who are really strong women who have taken responsibility for their lives and survive in any situation,” he said.
The film also stars Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
Toxic has been produced under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The release date has not been confirmed yet after being postponed from its earlier schedule.
