Marco Rubio India Visit Schedule: US Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio’s four-day visit to India will begin from today. Marco Rubio is visiting India for the first time after assuming office. US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore said yesterday evening that Rubio has left for India from Sweden. Let us tell you that US Foreign Secretary Rubio was on a visit to Sweden and now from there he is coming to visit India.

Tour schedule released

The Ministry of External Affairs has released the schedule of Rubio’s four-day visit to India. As per the schedule, Marco Rubio will reach Kolkata at 7 am on May 23, 2026. From here we will reach Delhi at 1:15 pm. He will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 2 pm in Delhi. The next day, on May 24, at 11.30 am, he will have a bilateral meeting with External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar at Hyderabad House in Delhi.

After this, Rubio will attend the Independence Day celebration at the US Embassy at 6:20 pm. Will attend the program in Agra the next day on 25th May at 9 am. Then will attend a program organized in Jaipur at 1 pm. Will reach New Delhi at 6:50 am on 26th May, the last day of the tour. Will attend the family photo in Delhi at 8.30 am.

Will attend the Quad meeting on 26th May

Will attend a meeting with foreign ministers of Quad countries at Hyderabad House on May 26 at 9 am. After the meeting, a press statement will be issued again at 9:50 pm. After this, Marco Rubio will leave for America at 11 o’clock.

On Friday, the US Embassy said that the upcoming visit of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to India is important for the Quad Partnership. Let us tell you, this meeting of Quad countries is very important for the open and free Indo-Pacific region. The meeting reflected the importance of regional security and supply chain diversification of critical minerals.

These major issues will be discussed

Quad countries include India, Australia, Japan and America. Its objective is to ensure mutual cooperation, a free, open, inclusive and prosperous Indo-Pacific region. India is hosting the meeting of foreign ministers of the Quad countries to be held in New Delhi on 26 May.

On the invitation of the External Affairs Minister, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wang and Japanese Foreign Minister Tosimitsu Motegi will come to India to attend the meeting.

Important discussion on energy crisis

Before his visit to India, Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio said, America wants to expand energy relations with New Delhi. Wants to strengthen it through Quad. He described India as a great ally and great partner.

While talking to the media in Miami, Marco Rubio said that America is ready to export more energy to India amid tensions in West Asia and the global energy supply crisis to the Strait of Hormuz.
