Later, when people came to know that she was Sanjay Dutt's daughter, things became more difficult. Trishala said, “I often felt very lonely. I always wished there was someone I could talk to openly.”
Mother Richa Sharma's illness changed her life
Trishala told that her mother Richa Sharma was diagnosed with grade 4 brain tumor in the year 1989. The disease was quite aggressive and brought extremely difficult times to the entire family. He told that mother's health was continuously deteriorating and she was trying to understand all these things at a young age. Richa Sharma died in the year 1996. Trishala admitted that the pain of losing her mother is still alive within her.
Sanjay Dutt kept traveling between India and America
Regarding Sanjay Dutt, Trishala told that at that time her father wanted to live with the family, but due to film shooting and professional commitments, he had to return to India again and again. Trishala said that her father wanted to fully support her during the treatment, but it was not easy to stay away from work for a long time. In such a situation, he kept traveling between India and America so that he could manage both his family and career.
Trishala Dutt found solace in food and gained weight
Trishala Dutt also spoke openly on the problems related to body image. He admitted that during his mother's illness and mental stress, he started finding solace in food. She told that due to this her weight started increasing and people's expectations also put pressure on her because she was the daughter of a big star. Trishala said that people thought she should look a certain way, but at that time she was broken from inside.
