Adani Total Gas on Thursday appointed Sanjay Pandita as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective May 22, 2026, in place of Suresh P. Manglani.

With 25 years of extensive industry experience, Sanjay Pandita has been an accomplished energy industry leader across Natural Gas, LNG, LPG and emerging low-carbon energy solutions. He is widely recognized for building and scaling businesses, driving profitable growth, and leading large commercial and operational transformations within India’s evolving energy landscape, the company said.

Prior to joining Adani Total Gas, Pandita worked at Reliance Industries Limited/Jiobp Mobility Solutions where he held leadership positions with Mahanagar Gas Limited and Gujarat Gas Limited. He focused on driving commercial growth, customer expansion, and strategic business initiatives.


Earlier, he worked with Nayara Energy, where he developed strong expertise in fuel retailing and sales management.

Pandita has led high-impact initiatives spanning city gas distribution, LNG infrastructure, mobility solutions, clean energy transition, and downstream fuel businesses.

The newly appointed CEO of Adani Total Gas has played a significant role in advancing India’s clean energy and decarbonization agenda through several initiatives in biogas, LNG for transportation, and hydrogen mobility solutions.

Pandita holds a B.Tech degree, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and a Post Graduate qualification in Executive Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata.

Manglani, now re-designated as an Executive Director at Adani Total Gas, possesses over three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, including approximately 17 years with British Gas and BP Plc joint ventures in India, primarily in midstream and downstream city gas distribution (CGD) businesses.
