There is good news for young aspirants dreaming of securing a government job in the railways. South East Central Railway (SECR), Nagpur, has announced a recruitment drive to fill 1,079 vacant positions for apprenticeships. Applications for this recruitment commenced on May 19. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for these vacancies can complete the application process online by visiting the Apprenticeship Portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. The deadline for submitting the application form is June 18, 2026.

Candidates wishing to participate in this recruitment are not required to pay any application fee; in other words, candidates belonging to all categories can apply completely free of charge.

**Eligibility and Criteria**
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must have passed their 10th/Matriculation examination from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Additionally, candidates must possess an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.

Candidates must be at least 15 years of age and not exceed 24 years of age. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules. The age calculation will be based on the cutoff date of May 19, 2026.
