Hamza Burhan, the mastermind behind the Pulwama attack in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. It is known that a group of unidentified youths shot at him in Muzaffarabad. He died soon after. A resident of Pulwama, Hamza was known as ‘The Doctor’. In 2022, the Union Home Ministry identified him as a militant. Hamza’s real name is Arjumand Gulzar Dar. For the past few months, Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir have been selectively killing ‘enemies of India’. But who is behind it, that is the big question.
Hamza was born in Kharbatpora in Ratnipora area of Pulwama. Then he moved to Pakistan for higher education. There he joined the terrorist organization Al-Badr. Within a few days he was promoted to the rank of commander. He then returned to Pulwama. There he engaged in the work of brainwashing the youth and turning them into militants. It is known that Hamza’s network extended from Pulwama to Shopian. Apart from the Pulwama attack, Hamza was involved in several terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
Note that Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir was rocked by a suicide blast on February 14, 2019. 40 army soldiers lost their lives. Pakistan-backed militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed later claimed responsibility for the attack. The memories of that attack are still fresh. The role of the administration behind one of the heiniest terrorist attacks in Indian history remains unquestioned. How did such a big attack happen, how did so many explosives come? Many such questions are still debated today.
By the way, many people are finding similarities with this incident in the Munich murders. At the 1972 Munich Olympics, eight members of a Palestinian militant group called ‘Black September’ attacked Israeli athletes. A weightlifter and a wrestling coach were killed on the spot by militants. 9 people were kidnapped. Among them were the coaches as well as the players. Keeping all hostages, the militants claimed that the abductees would be released only if the 234 hostages held by Israel were released. The whole world was shocked by this incident. This is unprecedented in Olympic history. Finally, the German (then West German) police started a shootout to rescue the prisoners. In the end, five of the eight militants died. But despite this, the death of the remaining 9 hostages and one German police officer could not be prevented. In short this event is known as ‘Munich Massacre’. Israel launched ‘Operation Wrath of God’ to avenge this killing. Israel’s spy agency Mossad found and killed the leaders of the Palestinian militant organization “Black September” around the world, including Europe.
