New Delhi: Apple is preparing to strengthen its retail presence in India with plans to open a second store in Bengaluru, underlining the company’s growing focus on one of its fastest-expanding global markets. The shift comes amidst Apple’s healthy demand for its high-dollar devices and as the company grows in its efforts to make good on its promise to bring its production and interactions with customers closer to home.
Apple Retail recently added a number of fresh job posts for “Bengaluru East” for various retail roles such as manager, senior manager, Genius and specialist. Based on the location hint, the new outlet seems to be in East Bengaluru, very close to the Whitefield–Mahadevapura tech corridor, home to a number of large IT parks and luxury residential areas.
