Chancellor Rachel Reeves was torn apart live on GB News as the show halted for a breaking alert. Anchor Martin Daubney introduced a viral clip of Reeves being heckled at a Leeds petrol station, explaining: "We've got a clip to show you here of the Chancellor Rachel Reeves. She's been heckled at a petrol station in Leeds."

In the clip, the heckler was heard saying: "Am I gonna get arrested? Look at Rachel Reeves there with a smile on her face! You're ruining the country! Get Keir Starmer out." Reeves simply repeated: "I love our country. I love our country," but he wasn't having any of it. He fumed: "You say you love the country, you're running our country into the ground!"

Reeves shouted: "I love our country, and one of the things I love about our country is good manners!" - before the heckler branded her a "piece of sh**!"

The Chancellor snapped back: "Not very British. Right, very good. Put that on the telly."

Daubney said: "So that was Rachel Reeves there at a petrol station in Leeds being harangued by a member of the public. Nobody should be harangued in public office, we can all agree on that. Especially the swearing, it has no place."

Former home secretary and current Reform UK MP Suella Braverman then chimed in to say: "Judge her by her actions, not her words. What has she done? She's crippled small businesses.

"We have record levels of youth unemployment under Rachel Reeves. Our unemployment levels are skyrocketing. We have our highest tax burden in 70 years.

"She's just about to raise further taxes and increase welfare spending. That is not someone who loves the country, that is someone who loathes and holds the British people and British workers in contempt and wants to punish them."
