Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary together this week at their Montecito home, with Meghan sharing some photographs from the 2018 wedding day to mark the occasion. Taking to Instagram, The Duchess of Sussex shared photographs from the big day in Windsor, including snaps from the daytime and the evening.
In the daytime snaps, which showed the couple after exchanging their vows, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be seen with some of their bridesmaids and page boys. While it is hard to tell who is who among the younger ones, there is one clear face that has been recognised. This is the face of Prince William and Princess Catherine's nanny Maria Teresa Turrión Borrall, who was present to keep an eye on the young royals during the ceremony.
This included Princess Charlotte, who was a bridesmaid, and Prince George, who was a page boy.
The children's nanny, who is Norland-trained, could be seen standing with the young ones in the photograph shared by Meghan, with another snap then showing Harry talking to the nanny in a doorway.
Meghan, 44, captioned the images: "Eight years ago today."
She also credited the couple's wedding photographer Chris Allerton.
The 2018 Windsor wedding was attended by all senior royals, including the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
King Charles, who was The Prince of Wales, at the time, walked Meghan down the aisle.
The wedding took place less than two years before Harry and Meghan quit royal life in 2020 and moved to America.
