Borussia Dortmund full-back Julian Ryerson, who has been previously linked with Manchester United, remains on the radar of the Premier League giants as reports suggest the club continues to track his progress.
According to a report from Sky Germany, the 28-year-old Norwegian international is being viewed as a potential replacement for Noussair Mazraoui, should the Moroccan right-back decide to leave Dortmund in the near future.
It is understood that Dortmund would demand a transfer fee of no less than €30 million to part ways with Ryerson. The defender has just wrapped up an impressive season, which has only strengthened the club’s position in any potential negotiations.
During the 2025/26 campaign, Ryerson made 42 appearances across all competitions, contributing a remarkable 18 assists from the right flank. His consistency and attacking output have drawn attention from several top European clubs, with Manchester United reportedly among those closely monitoring his situation.
As the summer transfer window approaches, United’s interest in bolstering their defensive options appears to be gaining momentum, and Ryerson’s name remains firmly in consideration should an opportunity arise to secure his services.
