In the match against Lucknow, Rajasthan’s opener batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a brilliant inning of 93 runs in 38 balls, for which he was adjudged Player of the Match. After the victory, Parag said that this season, things outside the field are being discussed more than cricket. He said that players prepare for several days before every match, but after a bad match they immediately start being criticized.
Parag, who was recently trolled over the vaping controversy, said that now he has understood that people will say something or the other in every situation. Therefore, he has learned to ignore the outside noise and concentrate on his game. He described social media trolls as “keyboard warriors” and said that one should not let them impact one’s game and mentality.
Parag appealed to the commentators and said that cricket should be respected and the talk should be on the performance of the players instead of their personal lives.
