Sports Desk. Bangladesh national cricket team created history by defeating Pakistan by 78 runs in the second test. With this victory, Bangladesh clean swept Pakistan in a Test series at home for the first time. Bangladesh won the two-match series 2-0.

On the last day of the match, Pakistan needed 121 more runs to win, while it had three wickets left in hand. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Aga tried to handle the team and there was a partnership of 134 runs between them. Rizwan struggled by scoring 94 runs, but Taijul Islam completely put the match in Bangladesh’s bag by taking consecutive wickets. The entire Pakistan team was all out for 358 runs.
Liton Das proved to be the biggest hero for Bangladesh in this match. When the team had lost 6 wickets for 116 runs in the first innings, he changed the course of the match by playing a brilliant inning of 126 runs. In the second innings, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 137 runs, while Liton Das contributed 69 runs. Bangladesh had given Pakistan a target of 437 runs by scoring 390 runs in the second innings.
Taijul Islam did wonders in bowling and took a total of 9 wickets in the match. In the second innings, he dashed Pakistan’s hopes by taking 6 wickets. Bangladesh made new history against Pakistan with their fourth consecutive Test win.
