New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) started the online applications for scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets from May 19. As per students, the website provided by CBSE is not working. This has caused widespread uproar on social media. However, the CBSE has issued a circular in this regard in which the board has acknowledged that the online application process for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets is experiencing some technical issues.
The circular states, ‘The online application for obtaining scanned copies of Class XII answer books is temporarily facing technical glitches. The service is expected to resume by 02.00 PM today.’

Social media users have criticised the CBSE board for its website being down. Some commented, ‘The site is showing ‘SITE IS UNDER UPDATION’ for answer book applications,’ while others commented, “The CBSE Class 12 answer book site is still down. It’s amazing.’
CBSE board extended application dateEarlier, on May 19 the CBSE board extended the application deadline for re-evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets. Students can apply for re-evaluation and receive scanned copies of their Class 12 answer sheets till May 23. The CBSE made this decision after students complained of technical glitches including portal crashes.
