Bangladesh vs Pakistan: Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 78 runs in the second test. With this, host Bangladesh wiped out Pakistan in the 2 test match series. He captured the test series 2-0. This is the second consecutive time that Bangladesh has clean swept Pakistan in a 2-Test series. Earlier, Bangladesh had defeated Pakistan 2-0 at home.
Playing on its own soil, Bangladesh had set a target of 437 runs for Pakistan to win in the second test, which Pakistan team failed to achieve. In the second test, Pakistan team missed victory in front of a big run chase and its wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan missed a century. Rizwan was out after scoring 94 runs. With his dismissal, Pakistan's hopes of victory also ended.
Pakistan's game ended in the first session on the 5th day
On the last day of the second test, Pakistan had to score 121 more runs to win, while it had 3 wickets in hand. In such a situation, there was a good partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and Sajid Khan in the first session of the day. Both added 50 runs for the 8th wicket. Bangladesh bowler Taijul Islam broke this partnership by dismissing Sajid Khan. In the very next over, Mohammad Rizwan, who was close to his fourth and first Test century away from home, was also out. Shoriful Islam made him its victim. After this, Taijul Islam took the last wicket of Pakistan in the form of Khurram Shahzad and with that the match was also in Bangladesh's bag.

In response to 437 runs scored by Bangladesh, Pakistan team collapsed for 358 runs in its second innings and lost the match by 78 runs. For Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan scored 94 runs in 166 balls. While captain Shan Masood and Salman Aga played innings of 71-71 runs. But these innings could not help the team win. Taijul Islam was the most successful bowler from Bangladesh, who single-handedly tackled half of Pakistan's team. He took 6 wickets for 120 runs in 34.2 overs.
BAN vs PAK: This was the condition of the second test
Earlier, Bangladesh had scored 278 runs in its first innings. In reply, Pakistan scored 232 runs in its first innings, giving Bangladesh a lead of 46 runs. Bangladesh's second innings was limited to 390 runs and Pakistan got the target of 437 runs. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 104 runs in the first test.
Liton Das of Bangladesh was chosen Player of the Match for scoring 126 runs in the first innings of the second Test and 69 runs in the second innings. Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored 253 runs in 2 tests, was chosen as the Player of the Series.
