Tirupati: A middle-aged woman from Thondavada in Chandragiri mandal of Tirupati district, who travelled to Kuwait in search of employment, has appealed to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to rescue her from alleged harassment in the Gulf country.
According to sources, Bhaghyavathi went to Kuwait after being promised a housekeeping job by an agent identified as Chinnabba from Piler.
However, after reaching Kuwait, she allegedly faced physical and mental harassment from her employer.
In a selfie video circulated on social media on Tuesday, Bhaghyavathi appealed to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister to help her return safely to India.
She stated that she was being tortured and was unable to bear the situation any longer.
