IPL 2026: Sooryavanshi, Jurel star as Rajasthan Royals beat LSG by 7 wickets to enter top four

New Delhi: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi slammed a brilliant 93 while Dhruv Jurel smashed an unbeaten 53 to help Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 7 wickets in their must-win clash in the IPL 2026 on Tuesday, May 19. The win helped RR displace Punjab Kings (PBKS) from the fourth spot on the IPL 2026 points table and inch closer to a spot in the playoffs.
It was a must-win game for RR, who are the only team with their fate in their own hands as far as a spot in the playoffs is concerned. The Riyan Parag-led side moved to the 4th spot with 14 points from 13 matches so far this season and need to win their last game against Mumbai Indians on May 24 to secure a spot in the playoffs.
