Mumbai: The BSE Sensex jumped 366.04 points to 75,681.08 in early trade on Tuesday. The NSE Nifty went up 86.10 points to 75,681.08.
The dollar index hovered near 99 on Tuesday after retreating in the previous session as optimism over a possible US-Iran agreement reduced inflation concerns and weakened safe-haven demand for the currency.
Gold climbed toward $4,600 an ounce on Tuesday, extending gains from the previous session as optimism surrounding renewed US-Iran negotiations eased some inflation concerns.
WTI crude futures slipped toward $102 per barrel on Tuesday, retreating after recent strong gains as optimism emerged over a possible restart in US-Iran negotiations.
