New Delhi: Last week, a few movies hit the theatres, ranging from Bollywood to regional. From Suriya’s Karuppu to Ayushmann Khurana’s Pati, Patni Aur Woh Do, some are performing phenomenally well at the box office, while others are struggling to get footfalls. Now, let’s explore how movies are faring at the ticket window this week.

Karuppu, starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, is now inching closer to the Rs 100 crore-mark at the domestic box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 28.35 crore net on day 3, taking the total to Rs 68 crore. The film’s gross collection is Rs 78.75 crore. The film opened with Rs 15.50 crore and witnessed a major jump on day 2, by collecting Rs 24.15 crore on day 2.

Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Sara Ali Khan starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh Do opened to Rs 4 crore at the box office. The film witnessed a growth on day 2 and minted Rs 5.75 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film’s total gross collection stands at Rs 21 crore and net collection stands at Rs 17.50 crore.

Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart collected Rs 13.52 crore in its first week in theatres. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 3.20 crore net collections in India. The film opened with Rs 13.52 crore in its first week and went on to mint Rs 1.2 crore on its ninth day, Rs 2.30 crore on its 10th day, and Rs 3.20 crore on its day 11.

The historical drama, Raja Shivaji, starring Riteish Deshmukh, has now crossed Rs 100.07 crore at the ticket window. In the Marathi version, the film minted Rs 84.55 crore. The film’s net collection stands at s 84.55 crore.
