After a long hiatus, a major recruitment drive is set to take place in Uttar Pradesh. A massive recruitment opportunity has opened up across all 75 districts of the state. Let’s take a look at how many vacancies exist in each district.
The Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has initiated preparations for a large-scale recruitment drive to address the shortage of teachers in urban schools. According to reports, plans are being formulated to appoint 11,508 Assistant Teachers in urban council schools and 10,000 Instructors in upper primary schools. After a considerable period, the department is moving towards direct recruitment, a development that has kindled hope among lakhs of aspirants.
Details regarding vacancies from all 75 districts of the state have been forwarded to the commission. It is now expected that an official notification to commence the application process will be issued shortly. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also signaled his intent to expedite the recruitment process. The primary objective of this recruitment drive is to bridge the gap in the teacher-student ratio amidst the growing student population in urban schools. Vacancies have persisted in many schools for a long time, adversely affecting the quality of education. The department believes that these new appointments will enhance educational standards and ensure that students have access to regular teachers. Should the need arise, the scope of recruitment may be further expanded in the future.
Where Will the Notification Be Issued?
The official notification regarding the recruitment drive will be published on the website of the Basic Education Department. Aspirants are advised to visit the website periodically to ensure they can apply as soon as the notification is released. The recruitment procedure, eligibility criteria, age limits, selection methodology, and other essential details will be clearly outlined in the notification.
